Alrighty so let’s talk about the HibisCoCo African Shampoo. Well, you know I am a die hard shampoo bar addict but I have recently come to love all things black soap and this liquid shampoo confirmed that! This amazing mixture of ingredients to cleanse your hair can be purchased for $10 for 4oz on the Adé Vegan Hair Essentials Etsy Storefront
The kinder more gentle way to cleanse your hair and scalp. Antifungal agents keep dry scalp and dandruff at bay while removing product build-up. The natural butters and oils protect your strands and restore the natural moisture balance of your hair.
African Black Soap (dried plantain skins, palm leaves, cocoa pod powder, shea butter, and palm kernel oil), coco glucoside, hibiscus tonic, aloe vera juice, extra virgin olive oil, sweet almond oil, vegetable glycerin, jojoba oil, Jamaican black castor oil, vitamin E oil, silk amino acids, rosemary botanical extract, essential oils of lavender, peppermint, ylang ylang, lemongrass, tea tree, and Texas cedar wood. NO CHEMICAL PRESERVATIVES. NO SYNTHETIC FRAGRANCE, NO ANIMAL INGREDIENTS, NO SYNTHETIC COLOR, NO MINERAL OIL, NO SULFATES
This shampoo is definitely one of my fav liquid shampoos I’ve used to date and it’s definitely because of the ingredients. I stopped using liquid shampoos because most of the ones I have come across contain synthetic ingredients and strip my hair. But THIS right here is perfect! I LOVE the way it applies and lathers. It is a thick, black liquid that reminds me of molasses. That’s almost a perfect comparison as far as color and consistency goes.
It cleans very well of course and makes my hair really soft. Its key ingredients are of course the African black soap, Coco Glucoside (which is an extremely gentle surfactant, naturally derived from coconuts used as a foaming, cleansing, conditioning, and thickening agent) and yummy hibiscus. I am really starting to love all things hibiscus as well :o) This shampoo contains a mixture of oils like Jamaican black castor, jojoba, vitamin E, etc. so my hair did not feel dry or stripped. Additionally, it contains some of the best essential oils for hair!! Point blank, Ade Vegan uses TOP NOTCH ingredients in all their products. They are all like mixtures made in heaven lol Tonya knows what she’s doin ya’ll :o)
I will definitely continue using this shampoo!
